Thank you for your support

We have been overwhelmed by the response this website has had. The site had over 500 unique visitors in the 4 days after launch, and we have many emails encouraging us to release the mapping information to as wide an audience as possible. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive and who has contributed their enthusiasm to this project.

We will be updating the website throughout the consultation period, and we hope that others will contribute. We have now added the facility to add comments to each post on the website. We would be delighted if readers added commentary, as the site then has the potential to become a collaboration, and a truly useful resource to London and the GLA by helping to channel feedback during the LVMF consultation period.

A subscribe feature now allows you to subscribe to updates from the HD LVMF website via RSS (i.e. any updates will come direct to your email/ RSS reader on your Blackberry/ iPhone etc). The RSS feed subscribe button is at the bottom of the webpage.

Great project and I wish you well. By aiming to 'control' many distant views of London I fear that the planning focus may be moved away from local opportunities. Are we sure we have our priorities straight?

I would also very much appreciate anyone here willing to discuss this topic, because I find this topic to be quite important. Why control London in this way? Much 'view management' panders to local pride and distorts judgements about more serious London planning issues.
